Teenmar Mallanna challenges on Congress MLC election
Teenmar Mallanna challenges Congress' MLC candidate announcement for Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad, demanding 42% reservations for BC communities. He calls for the cancellation of EWS reservations and presses the Congress leadership to fulfill its promises to the BC community.

Teenmar Mallanna strongly opposed the Congress high command's decision to announce Narendra Reddy as the MLC candidate for the Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad constituency. He demanded the implementation of 42% reservations for BC (Backward Classes) communities, as promised. Challenging the Congress leadership, Mallanna criticized the party for seeking BC votes without fulfilling their promises and urged BC leaders to prevent Narendra Reddy from winning.
Teenmar Mallanna's Challenge on Congress MLC Selection
In a public speech at the BC Political War Cry event held on Sunday, Congress MLC Mallanna demanded that the Congress party implement 42% reservations for BC communities, as they had promised. He also called for the cancellation of reservations for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Mallanna posed a question, “Will you cancel EWS reservations, or should we cancel the government?” In the open meeting organized by the BC JAC, BC leaders, including BJP Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah, participated. With this move, Mallanna is gathering support from BC communities to pressure the government. It remains to be seen how the Congress high command will respond to this controversy.
